Why Resource Mint
Srijan started the Resource Mint initiative to find a solution for its internal Project Planning and Resource Management issues. While the use of Basecamp had solved the serious Project Collaboration and seamless Customer Communication challenges at Srijan, and is now the lifeline of our business, we still had to find a solution for the Project Planning challenge, which had been hurting our company, since it was not allowing us to give accurate project completion dates to customers.
We did not have enough clarity when some specific longish projects would be complete, and when would be free to start new ones.
Hence, Resource Mint was started.
Then we thought that why not make this a product for other Basecamp users around the world to use. This way we could move forward with our goal of becoming a Products company just as Basecamp did some years back.
Resource Mint is being built using an Agile Development model; we’re following the book – Getting Real – by 37Signals, as a guideline in building this product.

Is this still an active project? We could def use a resource management tool that connects with Basecamp!
Thanks –

How exactly to you intend to connect it with Basecamp – as far as I’m aware, Basecamp’s API won’t allow you to manage any of its users from an external programme
