Srijan is an IT consulting company engaged in designing and building web applications, and IT infrastructure systems using open source software serving customers around the world.

Some highlights about Srijan:

1. Srijan has been in business since 1999. It was registered in its current avataar as a Private Limited Company in November 2002
2. Srijan espouses a strong set of core-values which it believes are the driving force of its business
3. It works extensively in open source software and specialises in PHP based based Content Management Systems such as TYPO3 and more recently adopted Drupal for building some community-centric portals for customers
4. It has some of the leading open source contributors and faces from the open source industry in India (atleast North India) either working for it or associated with it as partners
5. Srijan is shortly expanding to Europe and USA by setting up direct operations there, and possibly to Thailand or Malaysia through partnerships
6. Srijan runs a social arm called Srijan Foundation which runs and funds several social projects in different states in India; it has been fortunate to attract a couple of highly dedicated people who are assisting in running the operations
